Almighty God, speak to our hearts whenever courage fades. Sustain us with an unyielding trust and steadfast faith, so that we may not be afraid to profess or defend our faith in You. May we stand with the same courage and perseverance of Your holy martyrs as we face the challenges placed before us. Renew us with Your unfailing love and fill us with hope in Your eternal purpose. Enlighten us to look beyond the temporary things of this world to You, the Source of all courage. We ask this through Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name;
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.
